Companies that are accepted into the Carbon Trust Fast Track benefit from:

Grant Funding: available to companies based in Wales.

Commercialisation: up to £70K of services that accelerate market entry and help companies reach a funding milestone or commercial breakthrough.

Networking: opportunities with investors, stakeholders and businesses with specific interests in the low-carbon economy.

The commercialisation services available from Conduit Partners and QinetiQ span the low-carbon venture continuum, from initial market and technical due diligence through to business planning, fundraising and commercial exit. Our services are delivered across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, with Conduit Partners drawing upon its track record in building, shaping and financing high-growth technology-based companies. QinetiQ offers unique access to the resources, testing facilities and expertise of its world-leading energy and environment team.

Applicants to the programme need to present a sound and well-thought-through commercial proposition that is underpinned by a novel low-carbon technology or by a business model that is clearly aligned to a significant reduction in carbon emissions.  

The programme is open to:

• Universities developing commercially focused low-carbon technologies.
• Start-up businesses, newly created spin-outs, or early-stage ventures looking to accelerate their growth.
